Click-Through Rate Formula
The click-through rate (CTR) is calculated using the following formula:
\[ \text{CTR} = \frac{\text{Total Clicks (TC)}}{\text{Total Impressions (TI)}} \times 100 \]
Where:
- CTR is the click-through rate as a percentage.
- TC is the total number of clicks.
- TI is the total number of impressions.
What Does a Click-Through Rate Tell You?
A click-through rate shows how effective an ad is at driving user engagement. Advertisers use CTR to measure how appealing their ads are, while publishers analyze CTR to evaluate the performance of ad placements.
Example Calculation
If your ad receives 200 clicks and 10,000 impressions, the CTR would be:
\[ \text{CTR} = \frac{200}{10000} \times 100 = 2\% \]
Additional Calculations
The calculator can also determine the number of clicks or impressions if the CTR and one other value are known. Simply adjust the inputs accordingly.
This tool helps advertisers and publishers optimize their ad strategies by analyzing CTR and making data-driven adjustments.
